I purchased two of these units, one for my mom and one for my husband. My husband was having sinus/nose surgery and needed to keep mositure around him – our unit worked great – didn’t have any major problems. The unit would stop running a couple times, and we found that we had too much water in the spout area – which you really can’t control, so you have to drain that out and then it works ok.

The unit I purchased for my mom leaks around the spout unit. We ended up with a big puddle on her wood table from it. We tried another spout and it still leaks, so some how the unit has the issue. My mom is wrapping it back up and I need to send it back for a replacement or credit. She likes the portability and ease of use, just wish it would not leak.

This is the third person humidifier we have purchased. The first was for my son and used daily for a year and a half. It gave out. I should have cleaned it more often I think. The second was for my grandmother with dry eyes. She uses it at night as needed and has helped her. This was to replace the one in my son’s room. It was great, and he loves the blue night light.

Use essential oils in it they smell terriffic the unit is quite and pretty. Well worth it!

I read the reviews and thought this was the one. I was wrong. The small plastic cup quickly reacted to the oils and the plastic spout and spout bottom became pitted and ugly. It was no longer the clear beautiful top that it should of been had it been made of glass. The dome is already showing scarring for no reason, and I wonder how long it will remain clear. I wiped out the bottom of the dome holder only to find that the gray paint was also not handling the essential oils well and was coming off on the cloth as if it was wet paint. In conclusion, the paint cant handle the essential oils, and neither can the plastic. Be warned before you buy!!!

It is a beautiful design and would be an amazing buy, at any price, if the base was metal, and the top glass. Other than that, it works fine, and is quiet and attractive. It doesn’t have allot of mist, but appropriate for its size. I don’t imagine I can send it back, having thrown away the box and the scarring already being clearly evident.
